Commissions
My custom commissions are the impression of the individual’s spiritual energy field or higher self. This is the part of each and every one of us that possesses and exhibits these superlative and transcendent qualities. Tapping into this energy is like opening up the depths of universal wisdom and knowledge.
Many years ago, on a vision quest, by the Temple of the Moon, in the mountains of Cusco, Peru I was given the gift of seeing. The quest showed me the different ways I was able to connect to other people’s power animals and experience their higher self. This was the energy that wanted to come back from the journey with me and be a strong presence in my creative endeavors. This sacred gift has been an evolving and growing tool in my life.
Totems are reflections of the deep connection that we feel with a certain animal. A representation of our energy in the universe. I believe that these energies, in forms of animals, guide us through our journey in life.
As we live our lives, new energies and animals join us in navigating our path and become our allies. Ultimately, all the totems are a reflection of our own strength and power. The aim of my work is to highlight this power.
My process is very intuitive, pure and deeply involved.
I will come across spirt animals that will want to be part of the piece or to simply share a message to support the final artwork.
Also, when I am in my process I receive messages in my dreamscapes, and those messages will find their way into the work in a symbolic way.
Commissioned artwork provides an opportunity to create a work of art that is very personal and significant to the client.
It is a collaboration of my energy and the client’s energy that results into a visual manifestation.
My intention with the final artwork is to capture the essence of the multidimensional self of the subject in this evolved state, rather than to create a portrait of their likeness. Experiencing the work is like sitting with and feeling the energy of the person rather than looking at them.

Most commissions begin by an email inquiry. A description of what you are looking for and why you are ready for this commission?
I like to get on a zoom call or meet in person, if possible, to discuss the project a bit deeper. Once we arrive to a mutual understanding and cover the fundamentals of the commission as well as budget, I send a commission proposal with our agreement and the scope of the project. Upon your acceptance and deposit, I add the project to my calendar and lock in dates.
Commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit. After receipt of your deposit, the initial step is for me to start gathering images and start the sacred journey of envisioning the totem.The first meeting would be once I have a strong base design completed of the piece that I can share with you.
Feedback is encouraged throughout the process, but most importantly at the first meeting, when sharing the base design, to insure that we are all on the same page. Every commissioned artwork is given up to 3 revisions.
In the case, where a final design has not been agreed upon after 3 revisions, new terms and contract will be initiated.
The creation of a completed totem can take anywhere from 8-10weeks.
Please note that Shipping & Handling costs will be added to the remaining balance upon completion and before shipping.
There are a few different ways to receive the final artwork:
- Custom printed on hand made paper from Nepal around 28” x 39”. The artwork can be presented either framed or unframed. A framed piece will be at an additional cost.
- A wheat paste wall mural. Additional installation fees will be applied
